The Insights Association hosted the annual NextGen Market Research (NGMR) Disruptive Innovation Awards for 2019. Following an industry-wide call for submissions, a panel of esteemed judges chose three winners, each honored at IA’s CRC in Orlando on October 22. The winners are:
- Most Innovative Research Method – Applied Marketing Science
- Outstanding Disruptive Start-Up – Rival Technologies (Canada)
- Change Agent of The Year – Dave Carruthers, CEO & Founder, Voxpopme
The Outstanding Disruptive Start-Up is open to companies with three years or less in the industry and disrupting traditional market research with a technology platform or service-based solution.
Most Innovative Research Method honors tested new methodologies that have delivered exceptional, validated research results.
Industry Change Agent of the Year honors an individual who is really shaking things up in our industry with new thinking and novel approaches – a truly exceptional change agent who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.
Tom Anderson, founder of OdinAnswers and NGMR, presented the awards along with IA’s CEO David Almy. Winners received a complimentary pass to CRC and an etched glass award. For the past decade many of the most innovative market research and data analytics companies and methodologies burst onto the scene upon winning this coveted award.
